Music Generation Laois is a performance music education programme for children and young people in County Laois. Music Generation Laois is based in Laois Music Centre and delivers engaging music programmes in schools and centres, across 7 programme strands.

Programmes

Singing, Early Years Music, Trad, Orchestral, Stampede (World) Drumming, rock and pop, The Music Box – a Music Programme for children and young people with special needs.

Since we started in 2012, Music Generation Laois has invested over €120,000 in developing an instrument bank for Co. Laois.

Young people have access to weekly tuition and instruments.
