The Conor Guilfoyle Octet are special guests at the Laois Music Centre on Saturday 31 Jan as part of the reignited Portlaoise Jazz Festival. This is an incredible opportunity for students  to attend a free jazz workshop from 11.30am to 1pm, and Concert at 3pm

 

11.30am-1pm Multi-instrumental jazz performance workshop, open to beginner to advanced musicians age 10+. Bring your instruments! Pianos and drum kit will be available on-site.

3pm A Tribute To Miles Davis – ‘Birth of The Cool’ this performance will celebrate 100 years since the birth of renowned trumpet player, Miles Davis, by 8 piece jazz band, The Conor Guilfoyle Octet (Free admission, no advance booking required, all welcome)
