BOP Orchestra Project- featuring Music Generation Laois, Offaly and Westmeath is a collaborative orchestra project in the midlands.
BOP Orchestra, features adult musicians and young musicians from Music Generation Laois/ Laois School of Music, Music Generation Offaly/Academy of Music Tullamore and Music Generation Westmeath, performing under the baton of guest conductor, Veronica Urrego (Scotland/Venezuela), and supported by Musician Educators from across participating Music Generation programmes.
Programme of music includes Brahms’ Hungarian Dance no 5 and no 6, Highlights from Wicked and Aaron Copland’s Hoe-Down (Rodeo).
Ensembles from Music Generation Laois, Offaly and Westmeath will also perform including:
