Music Generation Laois Summer Programmes 2019
1-5 July, Summer School of Rock and Pop
Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise, Co Laois
(Mon-Thurs 11am-3:30pm; Fri 1-3pm & 4-7pm)
Age: 10 upwards – Cost €70
Develop confidence and stage presence in a weeklong camp culminating with a concert on the Dunamaise Stage on the final day. A team of tutors from the Music Generation Laois School of Rock and Pop including James O’Connor, Terry Byrne, Ros O’Meara and Denise Boyle will work with musicians and singers – all instruments welcome! Participants must already play an instrument or sing to participate.
We will have an optional jazz module this year led by Paul McIntyre (keys) and Dave Redmond (bass) pending sufficient interest.
